I spent 3 sleepless nights last week just to watch "which star are you from" and i should say it is one ofthe best korean love stories I can't seem to get over with. The story left a lingering touch which keeps me lovestrucked...even now.
I've seen Kim Rae Won on Attic Cat with the late model/actress Jeong Da Bin and Love Story In Harvard with Kim Tae-Hee (who once played a villain as 
Eunice on a well-known Stairway to Heaven) However, i think i've completely fallen for Kim Rae Won as he played Cuishenxi, a broken-hearted director who after years of tormoil and guilt at the loss of his girlfriend in a car accident, took a trip to the rural areas of Korea. He then met a young, innocent villager, BokSil/KinFushi (played by Jung Ryu Won) with a striking resemblance of 
the girl he lost but whose life, gestures,manners proved to be a complete opposite. More than this, it was this girls' plain, simple, carefree and yet honest,brave and and strong ideals in life which slowly swept a guy like him into what people around him never thought possible.
As both fell in love with each other deeper, a bitter twist of fate stepped in as the truth of Boksil/kinfushi's real self unfolds. The girl by an odd chance turns out to be Hailin, the lost sister of Shenxi's late girlfriend, Haixu whose family belongs in an upper class, who's mother couldn't seem to accept nor forgive.
Feel the intense love and pain from mother to mother to daughter as Boksil/fushi becomes Hailin with a new mother who turns her into a fairytale-cinderela. This story shows how deep a mother's love can go and what it does take to be a real mother.
